"Can I play heavy on day one and skip the rest of the cruise?"

Members of our forum ask this all the time, usually about a 7-day cruise. The short answer: yes, you can, but it is usually not a good idea.

Cruise casinos rate players based on Average Daily Theoretical. That means they look at your average play per day of the cruise, not just how much you gamble on one day. If you play very heavily on the first day and then stop, your rating can drop a lot, because the system may average your play across the entire sailing.

The better strategy

• Play every day of the cruise.
• Keep your average bet consistent.
• Let the casino see you as a consistent player.
